Do you serve Cider/Wine/Liquor? Can I bring my own?
No. Under Virginia ABC we are only permitted to sell the beer that we make. Outside alcohol is also not permitted

We have a constantly rotating selection of beer. You can check out what is on tap right now here
Can I rent a keg from you?
Yes, you can stop in to see what is available or call the brewery.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, Virginia recently passed a law to allow dogs in breweries so well behaved dogs on a leash are more than welcome in the tasting room.
Do you sell food?
We do not have a kitchen, however we do have a selection of small pre-packaged snacks and we typically host food trucks on Friday and Saturdays. You can check the food truck schedule here
Can I bring my own food?
You may bring your own food or have food delivered to the brewery. If we have a food truck outside, we do ask that you support them if possible.
Will you fill growlers from other breweries?
Yes, we will fill any clean, well sealing growler up to 128 ounces.
Can I bring my child or someone who is underage?
Yes, children and individuals are welcome, and we do have a selection of non-alcoholic beverages including our in-house made ginger beer.

What are your hours?
We are open 4-10 Wednesday-Friday, Noon-10 Saturday, and 1-7 Sunday.
Do you take reservations?
No we do not, our tasting room is first come, first served.
Can I rent the brewery for a special event?
Yes we do rent out our space for special events. Typically we only rent during times that the tasting room is open, and please keep in mind that our Fire Marshall capacity is only 50 people. Email info@riprapbrewing.com for more information
Will you donate to my charity/event?
We do regularly donate to charitable organizations and events. We have decided to focus the majority of our giving to groups that support the Coast Guard and veterans, and the betterment of our community and the environment. Please reach out to us at info@riprapbrewing.com with a description of the organization and event as well as attaching a 501(c)3 form.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, gift certificates are available in the tasting room.
Do you ever have live music?
No, we do not currently have any live music.
Will you send me beer labels or stickers?
No, we do not send labels or coasters to collectors at this time
Nothing like going to a Coastie bar. This place is cool. Coming from San Day Diego, this place feels like home. A micro brewery with board games and park bench type seating.
I'm not a big IPA fan but they brew an IPA here that they should call not your dad's IPA. Liam and Ben Brew some very good beer. They are located in an old garage and they have done a very good job fixing the inside.
Great quality craft beer! Super friendly service! And I love the rugged patriotic vibe with the painting of the Chesapeake Bay on the wall and the American flag! They even bring in food trucks regularly so you can enjoy some lunch or dinner with your beer!
Well made and eclectic selection of good beers. Atmosphere is very chill. Walked in on a Thursday and a very nice crowd was enjoying the excellent springlike February afternoon. I had the IPA and the Porter and they were both well made and free of flaws. Delicious.
